YNOT's Founder, Francis Ubah | |||
As Executive Director of Youth Now On Track Services (YNOT), Francis works in partnership with other community agencies to foster support for new immigrants and marginalized groups from Somalia, Ethiopia, India and other immigrant groups in Canada. He works dedicately promoting the rights of young people in Canada and around the world supporting youth education especially for those from low income and poor families Francis is a visionary, a strategic leader and an expert who is continually refining and advancing the YNOT organization by providing an all-encompassing service to youth and their families in the Downsview community. He is passionate and committed to community involvement and displays unusually high ethical standards, coupled with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. He is a highly energetic, forward thinking and creative individual with a deliberate focus on long-term goals, while maintaining the readiness to look at and respond ably to differing issues and positions. His key strengths include sound judgment and ability to listen and learn in all situations, and remain open to different ways people share their messages. Francis functions with discretion, tact, integrity, diplomacy and confidentiality as a youth advocate, a community activist, a teacher or a trainer. He is quite politically savvy and knowledgeable of current affairs; an engaging and influential communicator who can build productive relationships with people of all backgrounds. | |||
