The Youth Overcoming Mental Health Stigma Through Sustainable Employment Program equips young people with the tools, knowledge, and confidence they need to thrive in the workplace while addressing the stigma surrounding mental health. Through a combination of skill-building workshops, mental health education, and employment readiness training, participants gain the support they need to build a strong and sustainable future.

This transformative program empowers youth with essential life skills, mental wellness strategies, safety awareness, and practical employment preparation. Participants learn how to support themselves and others, challenge stigma, and develop the confidence required to succeed in both personal and professional environments.

Program Overview
Duration & Schedule
This is a 6-session program, delivered over several weeks.
Participants must complete all six sessions to receive certification. Interested participants who have accommodation needs will also be considered and accorded the necessary support, and this is treated on a case-by-case basis.
Format
Age Range
Open to youth aged 14 and above.
Educational Background
All educational levels are welcome – including high school students, newcomers, and youth exploring alternative pathways.
Employment Status
- No employment requirements.
- Both employed and unemployed youth are encouraged to sign up for the program.
