What is the ISBP Program?

The Innovative Support for Black Parents (ISBP) Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to empower Black youths and their families through a suite of targeted services.

The program encompasses seven key components: Youth After-School Homework Support, Counselling on School Behaviour, Mental Health Support and Counselling, Parenting Support, New Immigrant School System Navigation Support, Youth Employment Skills Training, and Youth Mentorship.

Each of these programs aims to address specific challenges faced by Black families, providing resources and support to foster educational success, mental well-being, and community integration.

Youth After-School Homework Support

Our Youth After-School Homework Support consists of helping students with their homework and school assignments.

Counselling on school behaviour

Our staff provides counselling for youth to address behaviour issues that impedes learning.

Mental Health Support and Counselling

At YNOT, we provide workshops and counselling to support individuals that are struggling with mental health.

Parenting Support

We work with parents to make home conducive to studying for kids.

Youth Employment Skills Program

The YNOT Youth Employment Skills Program is dedicated to empowering the youth of this community

Youth Mentorship

We work in partnership with community stakeholders to provide mentorship and training.

New Immigrant School System Navigation Support

We provide support to newcomers to Canada by helping them navigate the school system.
